Amiga Sequels That Never Happened
Can anyone remember games they played on the Amiga (even if you didn't like them) where the game suggested either in voice or text that a sequel would be coming but never happened?!
I can say two so far: Barbarian II - The Dungeon of Drax (at the end Drax states he will return but never does). The Plague (Ending states- It ain't over yet). Any more?! |

Spy Vs Spy 3's ending was intended to show the setting for a fourth game.

Clockwiser 2
Does this thread include sequels that came out for different platforms like "The Lost Vikings 2", "Prince of Persia 2", "R-Type 3", etc...? |

So sad this never happened... PM 2 was for me such a disappointment... I just wanted a PM with KO2 game style and some of the features listed in your screenshot and I would have played that game for the rest of my life...

Innocent Until Caught did get a sequel on the PC, called Guilty (which implies that the first game was one big lie?)
Promising list of features on the Player Manager 2 ad, but what sticks out is the idea that 1Mb wouldn't enough memory to improve on Kick Off 2's graphics (even with an 'additonal' (sic) disk drive), when Italy 1990 looks loads better in 512k. I did get the released Player Manager 2 for the PC and wasn't impressed either. |

Mortal Kombat 3 was considered, but was rejected, because Amiga was in it's dying stage (I've read it in the interview with Richard Costello, programmer for Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 (awesome) ports on the Amiga).
I've also read somewhere, that some animation sequences (maybe intro) for Comix Zone game (that i played and enjoyed on Sega Genesis), was done by the creator of the game, on A1200, but I am not sure if he ever consider porting it. I guess he did. If he used Deluxe Paint to draw and animate it, he must have loved the experience , but I guess it was financially not viable for him. I somewhat assume that Settlers 2 was considered, because what Settlers 1 programmers did, is nothing less then miracle, for Amiga chipset. When you know Amiga so well, and you already programmed 1 game so succesiful and great, you have to be a psyhopat with no emotion, not to, at least, consider making a sequel for Amiga. |

I do not think this thread is about sequels to Amiga games, that were realeased on other platforms (there are many of those), but about announced sequels that never appeared.
