Cybergraphx 32 bit screens

Hi guys i was wondering it should be possible to make 32 bit screens with cybergraphx 4 but i dont know how i only get 24 bit screens.

Any help would be nice.

Not all gfx cards support 32bit. I take it you have a CVPPC or BVPPC?

Can't remember what they show up as in cybergraphx whether as 24bit or 32bit.

@klapdeur: why do you think 32bit is better than 24bit ? The alpha channel is ignored anyway.

32bit modes only take up more gfx memory. For example 1280x1024x32 needs 5 MB while 1280x1024x24 only needs 3.75 MB. As a CVPPC only has 8 MB RAM, you couldn't even use more than one screen in 32bit.

I didn't say it was better. i was trying to get netsurf to work on my a4000. but it was for 32 bit screens or 16bit, and the 16 bit didnt work with the colours of netsurf.
