Old Amiga fan in USA with stuff to give away

I was a long time Amiga user, especially in love with ImageFX but I pretty much lost my ability to use Amiga software when the graphic card in my Amithlon machine died and had to be replaced. I am now using Xubuntu Linux and I have not been successful with getting EUAE to run properly.

I have a lot of things to sort through including many Amiga related original program disks, magazines and manuals. I would like to find someplace I could send this unwanted Amiga material. I would appreciate having the cost of shipping covered however. I can probably send it fairly inexpensively via UPS in the US or Canada. I will get together lists of what I have if there is interest.

Interest in Canada, but a list of what you have would be appreciated.

To begin with: Starting with bookshelf nearest my desk:

Toaster Tool kit 4000 with floppy disks and manual

OzWare
Co-Pilot Video with floppy disks manual
ProWave
Pro Mix with floppy disks manual
RenderFx with floppy disks manual

SAS/C (Amiga) Development System User's Guide with Floppies
SAS/C (Amiga) Development System Library References

Manuels
Lightwave 3D User Guide
Lightwave 3D Reference Manual
Lightwave 3D Systems Guid and Installation
Video Toaster Font Guide (2 copies)

Pagestream 3 Amiga user manual
(I have the disks for this also plus the upgrades and older versions)

Books
Programming Guide to the Amiga by Robert Peck

SAS/C (Amiga) Development System User's Guide with Floppies
SAS/C (Amiga) Development System Library References

AmigaDos Inside & Out by Kerkloh Tomsdorf & Zoller

Using ARexx on The Amiga by Zamara & Sullivan

I have 6 or so of those floppy disk drawer units full of OEM Amiga program floppies. I think what I will do is go through a drawer at a time and list them starting tomorrow.

Then I have at least 2 CD/DVD sized plastic file drawers full of OEM Amiga related floppies. I also still have a couple of the SCSI Amiga formatted harddrives with my system installs I had pulled from the Amiga 4000 because Amithlon and Linux cn access the Amiga partitions.

If I am able to get an Amiga emulator running on my Linux machine the only things I am interested in are ImageFx and Turbotext. I have found Linux equivalents for most of the other functionality including owning the linux version of Pagestream. There is also hardware hanging around that I will eventually excavate.

I was working on a project where I was trying to write a motion analysis program to use with the Amiga.

Maryland just north of the city of Baltimore.

If any of these disks need to be dumped for preservation, I volunteer to receive them so I can upload them for everyone. I am in Boston, MA.

I would be interested in RenderFX and Pro Mix. I have them installed on my Toaster/Flyer but don't have the manuals. Also one of the Toaster Font Guides. Anything else Toaster related could interest me. I have everything else in your first list except the Lightwave manuals but I don't really use Lightwave that much and I have the Toaster manual which covers Lightwave.

I have an extra copy of the ImageFX manual if you need it.

Media mail will be fine, or a Priority Mail flat rate padded envelope if they fit.

My Amigas are used to do art. The A2500 is mostly filled with stuff I did in the past and the A4000 gets used most actively. The A4000 Toaster is just getting played and experimented with at present. I do the same with them whether on the real thing or Winuae.

I'll send you an email and you can send me a paypal invoice. The payment will have the shipping details.

I don't know if FS-UAE is available in the Xubuntu distro but it is much easier to configure than EUAE. It should be available in mainline Ubuntu 14+ distro. The catch with UAE derivatives on a PC is that they aren't easily able to read floppies.

I'd take all the Oz ware left and Toaster Toolkit 4000.

Anything video or image related I'd be interested in.

I had sent you an email about another thread of yours also.

Thanks
