uninstall all Poseidon/ Rapid road files
Can someone tell me where all the files are located using OS3.9 as I want to fully remove any/all files relating to Poseidon and Rapid Road drivers on my A4k

just compare with the content of the archives, eg. poseidon 4.4 lha archive:
Poseidon_v4.4.lha -> PoseidonV4/InstallData Classes Devs Docs Libs Prefs Storage Tools look into the many drawers and search the content of it on your hardrive. i would start with a look into s:user-startup, searching for assigns or path commands referring to poseidon or rapidroad. deactivate those with a ; at start of each line. this was never an enjoyable task on the amiga

thanks, lol I almost forgot theres no such thing as 'hidden' files in our favourite OS  must be getting old or lazy or both

 I had the same question for RoadShow. I discovered when I decided to buy RoadShow that the installer will detect that it is installed already and offer to uninstall it. Last edited by Irl; 10 April 2017 at 01:25. Reason: Run on sentence |
