Eh? I'm not sure but can't you just unplug the mouse and then plugin the second joystick after you've launched your game? I guess an alternative would be a joy/mouse switcher...

i have some y adapters here, but i think they are passive cables... a switch must be active? or can i just unplug the mouse and plug in the joystick?

hot-plugging is dangerous and you could pop a cia chip!

the y cable will work, just ensure the mouse doesn't move

talking about that...i already posted something about this issue but can't find it again...do you know of any switcher that would be fully compatible with cd32 pads.?.the one i bought from amikit only supports 2 buttons from my pad so i have to manually plug it when playing cd32 dedicated games on my 1200.

You can also use the keyboard instead of the mouse. If you hold the Alt key and use the arrow keys you can move the mouse pointer like that, and pressing the Alt and left or right Amiga keys together (I think) left or right clicks.

The best option, of course, is a joystick/mouse switcher, also saves wear and tear on your ports.

Hehe I have "hot switched" joystick mouse since 1993 .. Not had any problems.. On both Amiga 1200 and 4000.

Hehe have though about buying a splitter since I got the Amiga, but never bothered.

Btw. The use of keyboard for mouse rules, one feature I would like see included in windowz (the feature is also in Morphos).
