Is this lista accurate? I s there any other car games wich has texture mapped road, ie. are "semi modern"? There is a some SDL games but they are nto counted here, as they are usefull only for a emulators.
1st. Extreme Racing, is best of these. http://hol.abime.net/1616 2nd. Flyin' high is second best. http://hol.abime.net/586 3rd. Turbo Racer 3D http://hol.abime.net/1528 This is "almost fun". 4th. Street racer http://hol.abime.net/2140 controls / playability problems. 5th. Virtual GP http://hol.abime.net/1578 simulator, not fun for me. Those who like, would like this. 6th. Joyride. http://hol.abime.net/4338 I don't understand why anybody would like this. 7th. Desert Racing Of BarDos http://hol.abime.net/4196 it is so bad that I don't know is it a really a game? |

Also tested Xtreme Racing CD, with WinUAE on screen RTG is very slow, do you have any Pach RTG?
On screen PAL AGA works very well, very fast Test Video: Xtreme Racing CD |

OK, Virtual karting series was missing.
8th Virtual Karting http://hol.abime.net/1579 Virtual karting uses black lines as a every other line and that way it is playable with plain Amiga 1200 computer. I haven ever seen how this looks a old style CRT TVs, but must look better than monitors and LCD-TV, because with those it unplayable. Would it be possible hack those black lines away make a every other line 2pxl high etc? Last edited by utri007; 06 August 2020 at 21:36. |

if a racing game like that is little slower in RTG than AGA i think it better because you can easily win every track

Power Drive the road seems texturized even if is top view visual.
4x4 Off Road Racing in the road show something like brushes to simulate the condition of the road Rallly Championship the road is texturized Skidmark SuperSkidmark WheelSpin Drivin' Force shows something similar Virtual Karting Virtual Karting II |
