EasyNet Connect to HOST PC (win7)

Hi,

I'm using EasyNet on a 1200 and I'm trying to connect to a shared folder on my Win7 box.

I've added the details in the HOSTS and it pings the PC ok but when I try and connect it is not accepting my password and comes up with a 'Socket Access from PC denied' message.

I assume it's some kind of security/firewall issue....has anyone got this working?

I think last time I had to fiddle with the PC's firewall to get this working but that was on XP.

Send a message via MSN to FOL
I can confirm that EasyNet file sharing will work with Windows 7

Here are the settings I use in:

> Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Advanced sharing settings

o Turn on file and printer sharing
o Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in the Public folders
o Enable file sharing for devices that use 40- or 56-bit encryption
o Turn off password protected sharing

I use a regular IPv4 address (static) for ease of connection and have a folder which is called Shared which the Amiga connects to with a guest account from EasyNet

Can somebody tell me if file sharing with easynet is working when my windows7 laptop is a member of a domain (it's my work laptop)? I can find all settings FOL has mentioned but not the last one (password protection). I can see another option beneath the 40/56 encryption part, but the text is in dutch and when translated to english it doesn't seem it has anything to do with password protection...

And what exacltly do I have to fill in in the host manager of easynet? Should I enter the domain name in the the workgroup field? And I guess I have to enter my windows credentials in the username/password fields? When I click on the dropdown button near the 'share' field, my amiga crashes...
