vampire 500 v2+ screen mode problem
Hey all,
Got a vampire 500 v2+ recently and I'm loving it but I ran into a silly screen mode problem. So, In coffin OS V0.56 I set the resolution to 1360 x 768 25hz by accident and now I can't see my screen on my HD TV. Common problem I see on the apollo forums. My problem is that when I boot up into ECS mode using shift and change the screen mode in the Picasso96 prefs to something with 50mhz or 60 mhz refresh rate (something that used to work on the HD TV) it's still blank on reboot on the HD TV. Any thoughts? I've been waiting years to finally try this and I'm so frustrated after all this time finally getting it to work and messing it up with a simple screen mode change. Did you tried to boot with workbench floppy disk and then delete picasso screenmode settings?
Your cable can be week. Did you tried with another more expensive hdmi cable? Or with a hdmi signal booster? |

I found a fix. I switched to another, newer HD TV and it seemed to work fine. I'm curious to try that suggestion with the old TV tho starship. Thanks! Also, the HDMI cable was new.
