Wide Monitor

Hello,
I just bought an LG194WT 19" wide (16:9) LCD monitor with 2 inputs a digital and a analog one and conected my A1200 with ScanDoubler/FlickerFixer to the analog input. Everything works fine except that all screens appear with vertical shadow strips along all image in the monitor, those strips could vary in thickness as I adjust monitor settings but never desappear. I tested all monitor drivers and DoublePal and Euro72 doesn´t work and the strips still there. I think this happens because the monitor is wide so the resolution that amiga produces (640x512) is too short and as result appear the shadow strips and with amiga higher resolutions the text appears wierd.
Someone knows a patch or other software that could fix this problem?
I think that if there is a patch or monitor driver or a hardware hack that "compress" the image so it appears shorter (4:3) in the monitor but with same resolution maybe fix the problem.
Thanks

Can you force the monitor into a 4:3 aspect ratio from the menu? I have a Dell monitor that defaults to 1280X768 that has an aspect switch that makes it 1024X768 and puts the black bars along the sides of the screen.

This may not be a monitor problem. I have this problem with one of my 1200's. This 1200 also has problems displaying colours to a tv through the aerial lead. It works great with a scart lead, but when i use VGA i get these lines, i first thought it was the Monitor until i got a second 1200, and with this machine there are no lines at all. Is it an external scan doubler ? can you try the monitor with another Amiga ?
