@DDNI

m8.... have you tried another power supply?

did you check you voltages and current?

-----

If you want you can send it to me to run a batch of tests, alas I dont have a scope, but I think this issue is not a scoping issue, it smells of lack of current or poor current.

upto you m8y

I promise to take hardware pr0n with my new Lumix Fz28

yeah... well chuffed with that monster a damn fine buy!

@Damion, shoot I hope that is not the case here..... Did your caps look bad? Mine all look A1 and the A600 works perfectly without the A630 - No sound issues / crashes etc.
Some showed leakage, yes... I had to replace an IC near the floppy area as the legs were badly corroded from a nearby "leaker". Though often the caps look entirely normal, yet you'll still get the tell-tale "fishy" odor of electrolyte when they're removed. They leak long before the damage is visible.

Mine (all 3 boards actually) worked just fine without the accelerator attached, which lead me to believe that the '030 card might be defective. (Fortunately, it was not.) IMHO, original caps on A600 and C= manufactured A1200 boards should be replaced as a first step before getting too carried away.

Hi Zetr0 it would be great if you would take a look at this A630 for me, many thanks.
Please PM me and advise where to send it.
