Is there any USB-AMIGA joystick adaptor?

I wonder if there is an adapter available for the USB joystick, there's one for the USB mouse al least:

http://www.retro-data.com/

I guess it's more difficult because the joystick drivers are not standard unlike the mouse drivers.

You want to use a USB joystick on the Amiga?

Or an Amiga joystick on a computer with USB?

Alex, I think he wants to use USB joy on Amiga.

Its something I am interested in as well, about converters/adaptors for Mega Drive(Genesis) and Amiga.
I know about converters for SNES,MD,Saturn for using PS joypads but how to connect USB PC joypad (Logitech Precision e.g.) with these consoles or Amiga

If he is talking about USB joystick on Amiga why is he talking about drivers?

AFAIK the only way to use a USB joystick on the Amiga is with a USB host card such as a subway or a deneb. Compatibility is low as most games read the Amiga joystick port directly and do not have a "direct-input" like layer to accept HID devices.

AFAIK there is no USB Joystick -> 9-pin digital Joystick adapter.

The only reason such adapters exist for mice is that USB mice have PS/2 fallback mode and the adapters are really PS/2->Amiga mice adapters.

The best solution for a new Joystick is to buy a new 9-pin competition pro from Individual computing.

Or buy a Playstation->9-pin adapter and use a PSOne joystick / pad.

Alex, you are fountain of wisdom

Maybe frikilokooo meant "hardware drivers," exactly what you are talking about in your post.

There are loads of solutions going that way, all very much equally as good.

Google for "Stelladapter"

or

http://www.retrousb.com/product_info...products_id=69

or

http://www.retrousb.com/product_info...products_id=70

Or make your own
