Disable Windows shortcuts while running WinUAE on Vista

Especially Windows-L. RAmiga-L is the shortcut for paste-line in CygnusEd and I use it very very often. But on Vista this always locks the screen which is very annoying. So is it possible to disable Windows-L while WinUAE is running ?
(Or is it possible to disable Windows-L alltogether ? I am not so experienced with Vista yet.)

I don't know if this information can be good enough for You but I use a tool to disable all windows logo shortcut. Only one thing is that the shortcuts are disabled in whole system. Tool is for windows xp but I use it under Vista too.

Good point...using "Shift" keys as flipper buttons in pinball games when using WinUAE is asking for trouble!

Strtange.
Definitely shouldn't lock.
Windows + L is used as "switch user" option (return to the user logon screen without logging off the current user) so it's quite an important "feature" () and I'm afraid it can't be disabled.
But I've never tried to do so.
Maybe, if only you have an account on that PC, you could turn off the logon screen, the welcome screen, and delete all the other accounts?
Methinks then this wouldn't happen, but that's just a guess...

This can be easly disabled, try Control Panel > Ease of Access (IIRC)

Or just press Shift a couple of times, and it will popup with a config window, where you can turn it off

I think this is your best option, mainly because it's the easiest to apply plus it works in any Windows version from 2000 onward.

Open the Group Policy Editor using GPEDIT.MSC from a commandline. Drill down to Local Computer Policy -> User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Ctrl+Alt+Del Options and set Remove Lock Computer to enabled.

If you want to invoke this setting temporarily then you can script the registry setting directly, see this page for the reg key locations.

I meant logically locked as in "please enter your password", not physically locked as in "only the reset switch helps".

The switch user function can still be used from the start menu. Only the shortcut is disabled.

Technically the shortcut is Lock Workstation, the only reason you see a login screen under XP and Vista is because you have Fast User Switching enabled, if you disable this setting in the User Accounts Control Panel then you will see the traditional NT lock window instead.
