auto fire - no joystick.
Can anyone help suggest where to look?
I have an Amiga 500 rev 6 that fires the joystick with nothing plugged in. I've tried swapping the CIA chip. Unplugged memory etc, still fires slowly. So no joysticks plugged in, load a game and its like someone is pressing the fire button over and over. Any ideas? Last edited by UKShark; 07 July 2019 at 23:39. |

I would check that pin 6 on the joystick port isn't shorted to ground first.

Check the pullup resistors as well. Are you able to take a voltage reading on the fire button pin?
