4000T and WB 3.0

I just noticed that the version of WB installed on my 4000T is 3.0 (39.29) Please correct me if I am wrong. I have kickstart 3.1 (40.70)

My workbench floppies all say 3.1 and when I run the install it says "This program lets you install release 3.1" So the question is is 39.29 3.1 on a tower or 3.0?

Any help would be appreciated.

maybe its about the A4000T rom comes w/o workbench library ( which i think gives the version info you were reading).
workbench history website has some more detail/text about version 3.1.

edit: not sure if he talk about wb or kickstart:

There were two releases of 3.1: VillageTronic obtained permission to release it to all their PicassoII owners back in 1994
(amidst some debate as to whether they really had this permission or not). Then, the official release occured sometime after this.

If that Workbench version is in TOSEC, then the DAT files will surely enlighten you.
