Last Ninja 1-3 longplays (C64)

I just finished Last Ninja 1-3 again and I recorded it this time.
It's my favourite games series on the C64.. LN2 is the best one I think and LN3 is definately the worst one.

Anyway, here are the longplays :

Argh, I'm *so* jealous!!!!!

If you ever run out of money, I'll be the first in line to buy them! (crosses fingers.. )

Do you have Last Ninja 3 as well? I think the box for that game looks really cool and I think it came with a poster too?

And I read in that other thread that you liked Shadow of the Beast 2 the best in that series too. We seem to have pretty similar taste in games

Last Ninja 3 Amiga version longplay

Here's a longplay of the Amiga version of Last Ninja 3.

I made some incredibly silly mistakes though.. two times I walked off the path and died.
The second time I do that (on level 4), I was distracted by my brother while playing.
There's no way I'll bother to re-record the entire game though so this is the best you'll get

At least you can see the entire game from start to finish including the intro and ending sequence.

Laffer: Did you know in Last Ninja 2 you can turn the light on in the 2nd to last room of the mansion so you don't have to go through it in the dark? It's also interesting how you fight just about nobody, when I play those games I always kill all the enemies!

Anyway well done, you have done well!

It certainly was my friend, and music coming from the awesome SID chip in those games is absolutey fantastic. Thats one of things that drew me into the Last Ninja Series even more, and the music in part 1 & 2 is by and far almost better than alot of Amiga Games ( i did say "almost" )

Yes I know that I just did it this way as I wanted to finish it quickly.
I know you don't have to use the rope either on that level.

Also, I usually kill most of the enemies too but I wanted to show an alternate way.. most people have probably killed most of the enemies so I figured it might be more fun to watch it this way

Interesting how the lightning sample on the Amiga intro from LN3 is the same sample as the intro to Shadow of the Beast 2. There must have been "sample sets" going around in those days.

Great longplay! At least someone shows me how to finish that ridiculous stupid first level. Back in my Amiga days I never figured out what to do to get off the first level without using a cheat.

I took down the Last Ninja 3 longplay from Youtube, I wasn't happy with it.

I've made a better one, going to upload that one soon.

Just made a longplay of Last Ninja 2 Remix for the C64.. it's the same game as Last Ninja 2 only with an intro and different music.

However, I wanted to make one in which I play like I normally do (in the other one I pretty much run away from every enemy in the game).. so in this one I kill a lot of enemies.

Awesome remix tunes by Ouwehand. Although that sid sounds much like an 8580 to me.
