I think it's a list from another person.
But an important one.
There are lots of disks with those numbers written on it that do match that list.
But on the other hand, there are at least more then twice as much disks and the other way around: we have boxes with e.g. disk A630 to A710 and then A728 to A756, while numbers A711 to A727 are not there.

The intro text of that disk says "Twins database", maybe that was the other swapper.

could not find anything new. there are some more amiga related links:
https://archive.org/details/software...miga_demopacks
https://archive.org/details/softwarelibrary_amiga
perhaps some more.

but nothing special so far.

#1) BS1 #50 comes with full version (set) of Opticks (Opticks d1.adf / Opticks d2.adf )
some old 3D raytracing package.

ah, yes, and Lightbox - filename misspelled as Lightboy
with full disk set - some kind of sketching/painting/2D animation thing

Has someone checked BS1part53 yet, ?
What looked like a possible decent size demo created with VideoTracker threw up an error when i was scanning the disk with Virus Z III
Maybe Dlfrsilver or anyone free could check my error ?

On BS1part53 Video Tracker extended.adf disk crashes out when scanned with virusZ_111
The files that trigger this seem to be /Brush/ID&T_16.bru and Skull_L6.bru

The Error is #8000000A (suspend or reboot requester)

thanks

Not interesting in an Amiga way, just interesting in a preservation way.

Yes,
B1359.adf should be Body Blows disk 4
the A, B and C numbers match a list on 1 of the pen-pal disks (Can't remember which one, sorry)

Logged on after a very long time and what a beauty of a find this is!

Just out of curiosity, as it is being converted to ADF... would it not be better to Kryoflux all the disks to preserve their content fully as from my understanding (which is more than likely wrong), the ADFs were limited when disks contained long tracks etc - although, I suppose these were removed in cracks making ADFs acceptable file format. Did I just answer my own question? lol

this caps/sps thing seems dead to me. looks like they finished their deeds,
now only selling their hardware.
no need to support this, IMHO.

most of the apps came with hardware dongles or serial numbers. cannot recall any
applications with disk based protection.
so I think the way it gets preserved is the right way.

I have mixed feelings about that. I had / have a requested game on their website in my collection, Goblins 3 that I of course wanted to contribute. After a loooooooooooooooong time I got a message " yes we want it but we only accept images made with the kryoflux hardware " .... Sorry I am not buying a piece of hardware for roughly 100€ to get them that one image they want.

In the meantime I obviously have more use for a kryoflux but still ... that's a 100€ that at some point will end up in a drawer doing nothing. I need to think about it some more... buy one, use one from someone else ... dilemmas.
