If you downloaded directly the cover manual of loom, (a JPG image of 211.216 bytes), and then download the manual PDF compress in ZIP and unzip them, the both files are exactly the same.

Here's a List of my Scanned Manuals:

They're all scanned in 300dpi. The Black&White Pages are in PNG.
All Pages are exactly the Same Size, and centered. The final Format is PDF.

You are right those recent manuals (eg Loom, Crazy Cars) are just the cover.

I don't think this is a HOL bug though, but a misunderstanding within the team.

Soldier of Light manual (http://download.abime.net/hol/getzip...s9NmVWNE1qTT0=) doesn't download at all (just opens an empty tab).

Also:

* the BT2 "manual" is just a map, not a manual.
* California Games 1: the 2912_manual1.pdf and 2912_manual2.pdf files are corrupt.
* the Barbarian 1 Psygnosis map is corrupt.

I think some of these don't work as the files are not PDF as stated. For instance, California Games (pg 1 & 2) and Wind Surf Willy's manual pages are JPG, but when you click on the link it defaults to PDF.

Yep, but mainly only single jpg's of the manual cover.

btw: Any chances for a fix? I'm interested in the complete Full Metal Planete manual.
