WHDload Game Requests

Hello people,

Here's a quick request for some games I'm missing for the next whdload pack, if you have any of them please let me know and I'll whack them in.

Explora 3
Virtual Karting 2 (A working copy without gfx glitches)
Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (Arcade Version)
Power Pinball
Dark Century
Swap (English Version)

Much appreciated folks.

KG Out.

I swear it must be something to do with recent versions of WHDload fecking the game up because no version I've come across works properly and DeCreator said that his version used to work fine. It must have worked ok on an older version of WHDload but I haven't checked just yet. The gfx look completely different on HOl compared to the whdload version which looks a mess of garbled colours.

I would submit a bug report but I don't own the game! I've tried it on many configs under winuae and it fails to work on my a1200 which has a pretty standard Blizzard 1230IV (you know the one)

This is weird.

For me WHDLoad is very flakey - it works on WinUAE then the next version of WinUAE comes out and it fails to work - then if you get it to an Amiga - most do work.

I think it's more WinUAE than WHDLoad. I can only imagine how hard it must be to try and get a product aimed primarily at real Amiga users to work on an emulator.

Can you please list them here as you find ones which may not be working correctly?

Eye of the Beholder 1 springs to mind - obviously a known bug but I don't get why it isn't working as of yet...

I'll get the rest of my list when I get home in 7 hours!

eye of the beholder - i think, xpkmaster.library was missing. also discussed in another thread. and people there used the libs from a programm called crunch mania, didn´t work out for me though. but these xpk libs are also available in another aminet archive, forgot which one it was...

other ones just need tooltypes to be removed.

can anyone in here up a working capital punishment install to the zone?

i just can´t find my original disks anymore.. (i really bought it on one of the last amiga expos in cologne) and neither the emule mcsteam adf´s nor the ones from planetemu work.

c u

Eye of the beholder has a newer install now which doesn't require the libs. It's in my next whdload pack which will be out in about 10 days.

I was going to include Capital Punishment but a lot of people on the forum weren't happy with that because it's still being sold.

I use WHD V16.3, 1200, 060, 64MB. and everything is working very good for me. Also the latest and updated releases. Sometimes some Access faults. But I think that this is a RAM adress issue.

Same here but with 030 and 16MB. Everything runs fine, sometimes (random) access faults (in most cases before you saved the game )
