Need recommendation on 3000 capacitor
Due to some corrosion I want to replace C495 in my 3000. The service manual says C495 is a .1uF Axial MLC.
Would this be a good choice: http://www.mouser.com/Passive-Compon...yx4avvZ1z0wqus Also is an Axial capacitor polarized or non-polarized? I think it is non-polarized but just want confirmation. Thanks |

They are bypass caps for chips.
Yes it's a good replacement, no it isn't polarised, and axial is a package type, not a capacitor type. It means a wire comes out each end. An axial electrolytic cap would be polarised. Your replacement wouldn't have to be axial, but might as well be. |
