PT-1210 - Amiga DJing software RELEASED!
After over a year in the making, we (Hoffman and I) release the first version of PT-1210 to the public at the Revision 2014 demoparty's Wild compo.
Grab it in various formats as well as some packs selected by Hoffman, Syphus and I to get you started from the URL below. ADF version includes some chippy tunes selected by me in the disk too. http://pt1210.kikencorp.com/ Send us your setup photos/videos/mixtapes and feedback so we know you appreciate this tool. Yes, sorry, Hoff is in Revision and his pack isn't ready yet. I should have changed the link to Unavailable for now. I will do so now.
If you want a closer look and longer demo of the features, there's an old demo video which covers pretty much everything that is in the release version save for a few details (release version has some changed graphics and little features changed or added here and there). [ Show youtube player ] |

Thanks. It boots from the adf without problems, but it doesn't run here from a shell storing it on C. Also, why didn't you make an icon for it to start on Workbench?
Edit: Ah, ok. It needs the mod files of the adf to be in the folder to run. I must find a god image for an icon if you don't have it. Edit2: Ok, now I've got a good icon to start it from Workbench. Now, using WinUAE which is the usual key on a PC keyboard for the "Help" key on the miggy? Edit: Ok, "Adv. Pag". Last edited by Retrofan; 20 April 2014 at 23:49. |

You need as MUCH Chip RAM as you can afford to load the majority of modules, so loading Workbench is a pretty terrible idea as it is a waste of RAM. Loading it straight is the way to get the best performance you can, specially on restricted memory systems. Of course memory isn't a problem in an emulated Amiga, but using an emulator isn't really the point of the software. Quote:
You cannot invoke PT1210 if there are no MODs currently in your path. CD to a directory that has your modfiles (LIMIT:200) and then invoke it. |

Thanks Akira. Well, I'm using now WinUAE, but only 2Mb of Ram on an A1200, and it runs without problems.
If any wants to try it from WB, just in case, I've made a drawer called "PT-1210" in Sys:Utilities where I've left the contents of the adf -mods included-. You should do exactly the same and then you should store there these files attached. Last edited by TCD; 21 April 2014 at 12:30. |

Please do not redistribute the software specially adding stuff and removing the readme.
All I ask here is that you download it from our website and don't modify the archive in any way whatsoever. Thanks. |

No problem. Edit: Akira I've got another idea for WB if you are going to make an icon. PM on the way. Last edited by Retrofan; 21 April 2014 at 20:29. |

Sorry I am on the road and the archive had a PT1210 file that looked like an exe.
The wish still remains: no modifications to the software, how it is distributed or executed. The official pack is on the web so get it from there. What you do with it at your computer is up to you of course! Sorry to be a cranky old hag about it, haha. If we wanted an icon I would have made an icon. Run the proggy directly for best performance. That's all. If you run it from WB on a 2MB setup you won't be able to load big modules because you won't have enough Chip RAM The PDF manual should help out more once I manage to finish it. For now the Readme is paramount for the operation of the program. |

I just had a small test on my A1200. It seems very good but need two Amigas and a mixer. So my disk based A500 wouldn`t be a good choice. However, good work! It would be nice if the people make new mods now to use with PT-1210.
