My guess is that they are avoiding overseas orders, or that since everyone ordered at once from them, they hoarded a bunch for reselling at 15 (still a good price).
What I really think might have happened is that Amigakit bought everything and now you have to pay through the nose for these chips through their website. |

From the looks of it the PLCC not PGA, however saying this i have some PLCC to PGA sockets that should work in a tower
