My guess is that they are avoiding overseas orders, or that since everyone ordered at once from them, they hoarded a bunch for reselling at 15 (still a good price).

What I really think might have happened is that Amigakit bought everything and now you have to pay through the nose for these chips through their website.

AFAIA: This is a well known 'hack' that has never been reported as giving any problems...
...my suspicion it's an early example of the 'modern chipmakers' practice of rating parts for demand-supply reasons rather than genuine performance.

i would have one Zetr0, to fit my blizzard that is missing the FPU, how much are we speaking? just hope the 33mhz works

From the looks of it the PLCC not PGA, however saying this i have some PLCC to PGA sockets that should work in a tower

I have this FPU(33) on my Blizzard VI on my A1200 desktop,and works perfect.

You can always buy from China,LOL, i sent an email to this guys www.hkinventory.com , they seem to have sellers with obscene quantities of this item, the lowest seller i found mailed me with an offer of 5 FPU´s for $10 US or it coul be $10 Us each...thats the problem about china...
