Fish Disks in ADF Format

I have begun to port over all 1120 Fish Disks into ADF format. All I see on the internet are the disks in LhA, but for a purist like me who likes to use his A1000 and/or A500 and/or A1200 to browse the floppies, I find it much more genuine to do it on my real amigas than on winuae.
I have already adf'ed the first 200 disks, and plan on finishing the rest little by little every day.

I already have them uploaded on my google drive, sorted by Year then Name, and if there is such interest on these boards, I would be more than happy to share the whole set with you all (as they get uploaded of course).

Each year will have a txt file that shows each disk's content.

The ADF's are straight copies from the original LhAs and no edits have been done.

Looking forward to your thoughts of making them public.

They're already in the community. They'll be in the file server (search for it on the forum)

It was the first amiga global PD/Shareware library. Lot's of stuff on there. Memacs, A68k, NorthC Compiler, PDC,. Untill the Aminet came along, it's great to see how the amiga progressed. It's on aminet under misc/fish.

There's not many mods there though chip.

Well in any case, I thought at least some people would find it useful if I post my link right here on this thread. So here it is, below. 1985 and 86 are done, 87 is almost complete. Every day, more will be added.

< link removed, as info already available elsewhere >

@KKR75; as others have said, in TOSEC there are already 1052 x Fred Fish disks.

These can be found on the Amiga File Server under: /TOSEC/Collections/Fred Fish

I wouldn't bother imaging up all disks; as it's already been done, so it's really just a waste of time.

You should really only concentrate on anything missing from the above

Disks #57 and #88, despite being 880K downloads, are 0% full and missing all the programs. These are not the original intact Fish disks.

I kept them for completeness. Those disks where removed from the collection due to copyright problems back in the day. But if I didn't include them, one would have said 'hey 57 is missing'. The readme file in the floppy says it all.

Anyway this is moot, as I have removed my link to to it being redundant with the info already available on the ftp server shown above.

I know, they are the infamous banned disks, see http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=41307

The rest of the disks are common, only these ones are rare.

You mean on my Amigas ?

It depends. Most of my my Amigas came from France, so I use the AZERTY keyboard, although I also have a GB QWERTY one and an italian one too.
My A1000 is PAL but with original US QWERTY keyboard because it's an early rev.

Video mode is always PAL.

I don't know if the Amigas were sold here, AFAIK. Anyway back then I wasn't living here due to the civil war.
