FS-UAE not reading ISO in CD0 (Linux)
Good evening,
I'm attempting to get an Amiga OS 4.1 system running within my Ubuntu 20.04 (KDE) Linux. I own Amiga Forever and OS 4.1, I have imported my Amiga Forever Kickstarters without an issue. The problem is when I select A4000 and the 3.1 w/OS 4.x support I "insert" the boot floppy and the ISO it comes up and says to insert the OS 4.1 Disc. This is the same ISO I installed OS 4.1 on my Windows machine without issue... Now, if I select the 3.1 without OS 4.x support it looks like it MIGHT get further, the PPC kicks in (flashes the colors) but then freezes on a white screen. I have the QEMU plugin listed. I have tried a bare bones config with just the A4000 3.1 PPC OS 4.x and, same thing, please insert volume. Anyone ever see this before? Thanks! -Corey ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's my config: # FS-UAE configuration saved by FS-UAE Launcher # Last saved: 2020-08-22 21:35:42 [fs-uae] accelerator = cyberstorm-ppc accelerator_memory = 131072 amiga_model = A4000/OS4 cdrom_drive_0 = $HOME/Downloads/ClassicInstallCD-53.71.iso cdrom_drive_count = 1 chip_memory = 2048 fast_memory = 8192 floppy_drive_0 = $HOME/Downloads/BootFloppy.adf graphics_card = picasso-iv graphics_memory = 4096 hard_drive_0 = a4000-part.hdf motherboard_ram = 8192 network_card = a2065 sound_card = toccata zorro_iii_memory = 262144 Last edited by Coreyoli; 23 August 2020 at 04:36. |

I have seen this before. Although not on a Linux system. I had to boot from
the floppy in order for my system to work. I noticed that you are using the PATH assign for $HOME ... maybe switch that to use the full PATH? It's the only thing that I can think of. Hope this helps! ![]() |

I was having the same issue. When I looked at my logs I found that the ralphschmidt-cyberstorm-ppc-4471.rom I was using had an invalid CRC for some reason and a file size of 'zero' ... Check ralphschmidt-cyberstorm-ppc-4471.rom make sure it's the correct file. BTW - I found this info by looking through my log files. |
