The .ADF I used only had unlimited lives and level select.

There was no number of rainbows options or anything else.

Thank you again !
I'm confused by this post, before you said the issue was with the level select?

Yeah, apparently the level select was broken and made the game loop always on the same level.

It's no longer the case with the new one.

And I was just saying that when a trainer is broken/not to your liking, it's far better when you can chose to activate it or not.

Level select in the previous adf -> Cannot deactivate
Number of Rainbow in the new hdf -> Activate or not

So everything is good !

My english is average so it can lead to misunderstanding sorry

Ok, just tested "Rainbow Islands - The Story of Bubble Bobble 2 (1990)(Ocean)[cr QTX][t +2 Slipstream].adf" and indeed, even if you don't touch the "Start at level" option it won't progress past "World 1 - Insect World".

Crazy, how did "Slipstream" not test this properly?

Funny thing is; Gamebase Amiga also uses that same disk that I did. I really wonder why no one spotted this previously...

What do you mean by "back up this project"?

DamienDs inbox is frequently too full to accept new messages, I see this seems to be your first post here. Have you read the first few posts in this topic, perhaps your question is answered in those, it frequently is.

Exactly

I don't need anyone to "back up" my project...

I work in IT as a 3rd line technician; and am quite capable of taking my own backups.

Just as an FYI, this project is already backed up to:
1) A secure file hosting website.
2) One of my many external hard drives.

And he can not ask for links via PM.

Polish being his native language???.

Maybe you are correct mad.

Thing is, my Inbox is not full ATM and even if it was... I'd get an e-mail notification telling me who tried to PM

So the "4 x Rainbows" really is dumb in my opinion, and totally unnecessary

...sorry BippyM.

I asked the main man ross if he could quickly hack the WHDLoad .slave to be the following (just like the original limitations), for use in my collection:
  • Press <1> for 2 x Rainbows.
  • Press <2> for 3 x Rainbows.
This has now been done, many thanks ross!!!

The "Permanent Everything!" trainer option has been left as it, so it still has "4 x Rainbows" applied... but who'd every use this trainer option?

Anyway, please just download / extract this archive into "C:\WinUAE"

Hello DamienD!

Sorry if I didn't get myself right the first time. What I meant was to ask if there's any way to offer support or contribute to this project at this point, or if this is closed initiative.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to send a PM, as the board kept logging me out on every try.

Hi efbiaye,

Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part also.

I work on the project alone. This way I have full control and can make sure that my high standards in terms of games added / setup / testing etc. are always kept.

What sort of support or contributions were you thinking of? You can suggest games for me to possibly include via this thread: Request for any gems

That's weird; never seen that. Maybe try using another browser.
