One of my favourite games might be to your liking: Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood
It's available for Mac OS X, Linux and one other somewhat popular OS (apparently there's an Amiga version too, but it requires a PPC amiga. I'd stick with one of the Mac/Linux/Win versions.) I've had the Mac version for years and I keep re-playing it every now and again. I'm in the middle of replaying it right now in fact. Just two more missions to go! |

Ooh, have I got the one for you! Sorcerer's Apprentice! A simple and nice action game where you can spend all day in a castle, if you want.

Fable II has lots of castle walls with marketplaces in them, because its in 3d you can go to view mode and look up and down.
Zelda has dungeons but also castles! Wow so many games with castles out there. Hope you find your peace with one of them! |

I like games with red headed men who have lost their memory and have to retrieve it again to defeat some aliens, can anyone suggest some games? |

You could also add Quake to your list, as the game is passed the better part inside a castle, albeit a very dangerous one! |

I believe Lord of the Realms and its sequels are missing from the list.
