C64 Emulator Advice....
I've just built the cable to hook up my 1541 5.25 floppy drive to my A1200 from some old instructions I found in my archives, but can anyone recommend a good C64 emulator for the Amiga that can utilise the 1541 drive?
Thanks in advance, Mick. |

Frodo is supposed to have this function. Or use Easy1541 if it's only file transfer you're after. But note that they use different cables. Which one did you build?

To my knowledge the only 2 emulators that supported a real 1541 are A64 (all versions) and Frodo 2.x (newer versions do not support hardware). The Frodo package includes a schematic so you can check your cable, a download is available at http://www.goodolddays.net/0_0_0_0_0...owapps_1__1_1/

Thanks OddbOd, looks like the Frodo cable I made so I shall give 2.4 a go.
