Computer crashes after several endtasks of WinUAE

I wish there was an Exit button when I hit the
F12 key.

So far I do a alt tab then end task or just end task to get out.

But after I enter and leave and enter and leave about 5 times I run out of memory.

I run memturbo to free up my memory and it says
I have over 150 megs of free physical ram but I try running otehr apps including WinUAE I end up
rebooting my system.
This is a major memory leak that WinUAE does not release memory fully. Eitehr that or you WinUAe programmers need to make a third party apps that will free up the Areas truly locked by WinUAE.

I will try the same thing in Windows XP pro and
will report back if the same thing happens.

I love the new version as it seems more stable but
I like the tabs better in the previous release more....

Also there should be a button at the bottom thats
stays put no matter what tab you choose.
Those tabs should be:

LOAD SAVE RUN QUIT

Using an OK button to run is kinda blind to the user and when he/she clicks ok they might think they are just agreeing to the settings or...
"Would you like the save the settings you just made before running?"

And maybe have a cool tip of the day like.
"Don't edit the default setups instead try loading them and saving under a new name."

I have so many more cool tips to give but will only give more if the programmers listen to teh newbies as some of us are GUI artists and testers.........

So far I like what I see but it needs so much improvement!

sorry I meant to say there should be buttons at the bottom not tabs that say...

SAVE LOAD RUN EXIT(QUIT)

Goto the misc tab when you hit F12 and select "quit winuae" to exit.

I got similar bug report some time ago, updating sound or display drivers fixed it (I don't remember which one) You can also without sound.

Why? Recent versions allows you to save settings even after emulator has been started.

GUI has currently very low priority. Maybe after compatibility is 100%
