How to start CD32 Games

Hi, Great work on the packs! I have just one question; how do I boot the CD32 games? I only had minor trouble with a couple of games, but I cannot figure out how to start any these games.

Oh, I am using Winuae on Vista 64 if that matters.

Not really sure what CD32 games have to do with KGLoad

If you mean the ones inside KG's packs you start them like any other WHDLoad game. However I think you're talking about CD images. Just mount them with for example Daemon Tools, choose the CD32 quickstart and that's it.

All the CD32 ones start exactly like any other, although they do require kickstarts for some of them.

What seems to be the problem?

Hi, thanks for the quick replys. When I attempt to start playing Defender of the crown 2 CD32 it displays this error "error during 'resload_LoadKick' invalid kickstart image".

I read the enclosed readme and I do have both "kick40068.A1200" Rom and "kick40068.A1200.RTB in Devs/Kickstart but I am still am unable to start the program.

Funny thing as I can start Battlechess CD32 and it plays just fine. Another thing that is somewhat odd is that I'm using Cloanto's 2006 Amiga forever package, but to run AGA games I had to take the actual rom file from my 2009 cd-rom and rename it to "kick40068.A1200" and save it as a sperate config to able to play AGA games. I'm sure I am doing something wrong, but the struggle continues.

Again, Thanks for all your hard work with these packages, I am really having a blast. I guess as far as DOTC is concerned I'll just play the "standard version". Thanks again for your assistance.

Seems like the KS 3.1 provided on the AF 2009 package doesn't work then. Just tested it here and it works fine with the correct KS 3.1. The TOSEC name of this one would be 'Kickstart v3.1 rev 40.68 (1993)(Commodore)(A1200)[!]'.

Hmm, Interesting. I have virtually the same file but the file extension is A4000. I think I try that one out. It seems Cloanto didn't put any A1200 rom fille on any of the disks in my collection, oh well.

Edit; Actually there is an actual A1200 rom, but not reconized by the emulator as the file that listed above.
