Is there something that we can do to avoid google plaguing our beloved site?

Sorry for the users, we all sort of forgot to warn you about that. Wth all of us being on holidays/extended week-ends we apparently all thought that another HOL member would post a warning and in the end nobody did. Let's blame TCD since he will be away from the forums for a few days

RCK is investigating the effect that Google ADs has on a site and 'abused' HOL for a day like lilalurl said. Another bit from the explanation:

No, like I said, I linked the google adsense and analytics stats to see how it works, but it wasn't effective on EAB because 90% of the visit are done by member who don't display the Ads.
I activate on ad block on HOL for everyone during 24h to see how the analytics and adsense are are working and linked, that's all

Lol fair enough. Hmmm need to learn how to block these ads! Some sites are riddled with them.
