Find it, send it me and if the quality is good enough I'll include it )

Anything is considered as long as it is Amiga orientated (Except Babylon 5 episodes :P)

So Adverts/Interviews etc.. send em in

I'd like to put in a vote for some PPC demos, just for the sake of showing off what modern Amigas can do.

Thankfully, videos for some PPC demos have already been captured (I have two!), so it wouldn't be any extra hassle.

Mind you, I'm not sure whether or not it might be a good idea to ask people for permission to include their stuff (and, in the process, ask if there's anything the authors want to contribute!).

Feel free, if you know who the authors are and have contact/email addresses then send em to me so I can ask their permission

As for old games/demos and PD ... if its grab-able it'll be included

Attached is an example of the DVD menu I am using to test stuff with

It is very basic, but works fine, when you hover over/select a demo the info will appear over it in green

Anyway this is really simple and early.. I hopefully have a gfx artist creating the menu's (He's knows who he is yes he does :P)

Anyway the following are completed

Games:

Chuck Rock
Pinball Illusions
Pushover
Super Space Invaders

Demos:

Symbolia (access)
9 Fingers (Spaceballs) [Done by Echo]
State Of The Art (Spaceballs)

I've had some problems capturing in WinUAE. It won't capture any demos at a reasonable frame rate (I get a few FPS, whatever codecs I use).

This is odd, since I'm using an XP 2800. I've tried slowing down the emulated Amiga, but that doesn't help. Ideally I need the Amiga running at 030/50mhz speed (so that I can use the remaining CPU speed for the encoding), but my emulated Amiga either runs at 3 times 060 speed, or incredibly slowly if I try to slow it down in the CPU settings. I don't get it.

I'm thinking of trying to obtain a suitably kitted out A1200, so that I can record through my TV card, but I'm open to other suggestions. Anyone know how to get WinUAE to be cooperative?

I capture at pretty much 50fps, but there are times when it'll drop a little!

I capture with uncompressed frames at 352x288 (Or whatever) and then crop it after, it aint worth capturing at higher resolutions than the program supports really, esp as mine are going on DVD at 352x288 (DVD Lo-Res)

Anyway have a play, and setup the most basic a500/a1200 config for what you need

You have to include the intro to Roadkill CD32. It was very nice indeed.

You might want to include SOTB3 as well. The intro on that was cool.

Only prob is its a small screen.. I'm gonna blow it up and see how "bad" it looks, if it is too bad, then it'll remain small!!!
