Awesome clenched, I see that you've very recent added some new, cool screenshots to the HOL entry for this game

Think I have this somewhere in my collection, is it worth digging out though?

No. The Doctor uploaded the screenshots. I think the first map is Cody's. The rest are mine.

I'm playing cracked disks so an original ADF set would be great since the manual is on HOL.

Pretty good looking and well made game for those early years I think.

I'll see if I can find my disks, it's just manual protection I gather, no actual disk protection?

According to Amiga Reference Card in HOL miscshots section, "comes on fully copyable diskettes.". Don't get me wrong, the crack has been doing fine. I just prefer originals.

Uploaded to the Zone! My disks have a saved game on disk 2 though, must have done that years ago when preservation wasn't an issue

Is it possible to get an IPF of Disk 2 only though?

Thanks for taking the trouble. I was mainly interested in having the manual protection restored. When I get stuck, that's one less cause to worry about.

Glad to help mate

I loaded it up and couldn't understand the copy protection initially, until I realised you had to click the symbols in the order they appear in the manual, you can tell I hardly read the instruction manual

Cancel request for assistance. Here's how to bypass the Iron Demons. This information was not disclosed in the LSD hints.

1. Have 4 differing items to drop ex. rope, torch, gold, key.
2. Go behind curtain, drop rope. Only way to go is left, right, or through door. Try each in turn until the rope isn't on the floor.
3. Drop something else repeat step 2 with a different item.
4. Keep doing this until emerging left of the X on new map.

Any wrong turn resets to room rope was dropped. So no matter how lost the solution is go behind curtain, through door, right, through door, left.

It figures the solution would involve the curtain room after declaring it inescapable.
Game completed.

There is a patethic conan game on xbox 360 or xbox by tdk. Conans animation is highly camp. But there is a decent game on the 360 a bit like god of war. Still this version lacks the conan feel. I still have some of the 70's conan the barbarian comics at home. Conan is cool.

I think I played that one... The first combat was against some wolved on a barren mountainside... I was severly disappointed. I might try the newer one sometime.

Also, about Conan the cimmerian... In Zamboula, there are two or three green crosses, do they have any meaning? And is there any way to get to the top left (door behinh lava stream) and top right (empty room) areas, as well the dead end with the wall decoration behind the laa stream in the bottom middle, where one of the green crosses is? Kinda mysterious...

Also, I was NOT pleased to find out that the Jungle ruins were overrun by spiders after the Monolith quest is finished! Those things are scary!

All games derived from an Arnold movie suck hard. what a shame when most of Arnold movies are pretty entertaining.

Well, almost all games derived from a movie suck hard too

At least this one has really nice 32 color graphics. Beautiful!

True Lies for SNES/Mega Drive was very good. And the Sega CD Version of Terminator. Nothing good on the Amiga, that's true.

1/16 size picture shows how the levels go together. They are stacked 4 deep in the game. Once the ladder is connected with its associated manhole that leaves 4 ladders with no arrows. 3 of these reach a greater height but remain within the level. That leaves the green cross ladder and 2 manholes unaccounted for.

I don't see any way to reach those places since the transporter spell is inactive on this level. Maybe secret passage or trap door or try climbing with rope inside the rooms?

All I can think of about the green cross is what the dying man's paper said. Red arrow leading to magician and beware 3 spots. 2 crosses and 1 arrow might be the 'spots'.

Awesome!
At first I thought he is playing guitar, which makes it, even more awesome.

How you did it?
Drawing, or it was a 3D model converted to sprite?

Keep up the great work.

I rendered the 3d model seen in the Shadizar scene at a very low resolution and made the animation choppier by only using every 8th frame, so it looks less like a render. With a higher-poly model and some touching up of the frames this would make a fine 2d game character.

Big conan fan here too. I have all howards Conan stories and loads of comics. There was an ok game on the xbox360 but it lacked that conan vibe. A proper amiga conan would be awesome.
