Gooffed up
I was working with my 2000 (3.1 ) I download a game file to the wrong place so I started to delete the files using Disk master some how I goofed up because computer just hangs at command prompt. upon reboot any ideas how to get the machine to boot up like before?

Try and remember what the files were called that you deleted and then boot up using a Workbench disk, open up the startup-sequence and user-startup in a text editor and look for any references to files you deleted, especially assigns. If you find any, remove or comment out the lines from startup-sequence or user-startup and reboot.
