Dev. are from Czech Republic. Is is reason of this name. On the box they used national signs, while in the game only english.
Rest of dev. team members are just before title screen. |

Yes, but they were pseudonym's.
The developers of the game decided that english-sounding names would make it more appealing. Steve Fabian is what was on the box, so I guess that is correct.
