AmigaPorts / AmigaDev - Development unification

Hello everyone! A while back I started an effort to unify development and porting of software and hardware for the Amiga platforms, wether it be Amiga 68k ASM, AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4, WarpOS, MorphOS or AROS. I called the project AmigaPorts (now called AmigaDev):
https://github.com/amigaports

It's a github organization where the plan is to collect all opensource projects in one place so it's easier to find what you're looking for. Instead of having separate ports for each platform, we try to unify the development in one repository. Anyone is welcome to help out.

Currently we have a joint effort to keep SDL-1.2 and SDL-2 up to date for each platform and same goes for MilkyTracker.

Since the API's are similar, fixes for a port to MorphOS might as well fix something for the other platforms.

If you'd like to join us, just let me know and I'll add you to the organization! We also have a slack if you'd like to come by and chat about amiga development, no matter which platform you prefer!

Good initiative.

I started something similar some time ago, github.com/openamiga, but never got anywhere with it. Glad to see that what you've started here is going somewhere.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of similar projects that have gone nowhere. The key is to be persistent. Currently we're a couple of people keeping it active. It surely helps that Bebbo is part of it as he works on the GCC-6 toolchain. =)
