WANTED: - CPU Socket removal & replacement

Guys,

Is anyone capable/able to removed a damaged LGA Socket 1155 & re-flow a new one in place please? - "Bent pins" inside the socket.

I have the replacement socket, just lacking the Pro Kit & experience....

Willing to pay a reasonable price & obviously prefer UK & as close to Cornwall as possible.

Drop me a PM with your Quote & Thx for reading.

Stan does that. He's in Poland but shipping to the US from him has always been reasonable. I'm not sure what his name is here but if is stanchu on AmiBay. I'm not sure if Janne (hese on AmiBay) can reball. I think, but am not certain if tbtorro can. He does this work professionally besides for us so I'm guessing that he can.

I don't know about shipping costs to the UK from the EU of course. All I can say is that all 3 have been reasonable to the US and their work is excellent.

My friend can do it. He is in Poole. From memory he used to replace single pins which is better as does not stress the PCB. Will ask if he can do lga1155 socket.
