C64.web.it keyboard question
Hi Everyone,
a friend just gave me a C64.web.it keyboard. It's the keyboard from an X86 pc made in late 90s with emulation of C64 i guess. I only have the keyboard (attach photo), with a nice Commodore key The keys/keyboard has a ribbon cable similar to Amiga. The keyboard is small and very nice. Does anyone has the schematics for the ribbon pins? I have an old USB Keyboard that i open it and i have the 2 ribbon cables. When i put a wire from 1 pin of ribbon 1 to other pin of ribbon 2, he makes contact, and a key is pressed. Just like this: I wonder if i could convert the ribbon cable from this C64.web.it to a standard usb keyboard. In the Usb keyboard, i just need to connect a wire from all pins, to know what key it will make. Easy, but in this C64.web.it, i don't know. Maybe with a multimeter... If i press for example "A" key i should be able to see witch pins makes the current flow by placing the multimeter needles in every combination of pins... Thanks |
