I gave a look to the seller website and I found a similar device, Everdrive MD V3 (Cartridge Form) With Shell.
What's the difference between the two devices?

Mega Everdrive - 'New version of cartridge has better compatibility with Chinese clones, improved user interface,cartridge hardware was improved as well. New cartridge allows to go back to the menu after reset,the cart can play multi game ROMs.

EverDrive-MD V3 loads the OS directly from SD card at eachstartup, instead of flashing OS to internal flash memory, it allows to avoid possible damage to thecart during an OS update.'

i own both the everdrive md v2 and mega everdrive.
my favorite features of the mega everdrive are fast loading, save states and the cart has 10m of memory so larger hoembrew games are supported. mortal kombat trilogy for example.
everdrive md is also a good cart for playing megadrive/genesis games as they were just like the originals but if you want extra features like save state you should get the mega everdrive. it uses an fpga chip which allows the cart to do more than the everdrive md.
also if anyone is interested in other classic consoles and flash carts then i would recomend the entire Krikzz range of everdrives. the n64 and nes carts are awsome.

I own a Super Everdrive - does its job, but way too many good games require special chips and the Super Everdrive doesn't support any of them.

The SNES2SD is better on that side, but it retails for an obscene amount of money

Actually there are only a few good SNES games with a special chip which are worth to be played. I have a Super Everdrive too, don't need the SD2SNES. And the most special chips aren't supported yet.

But it does support things like DSP-1 and CX4. I don't want to hack up and kill a poor Pilotwings cart just to have Super Mario Kart running on my Super Everdrive.

And CX4 = Megaman X2 and X3, which are both excellent games.

It's true, most of the SNES games will run fine, but there's definitely many interesting things using the special chips.

Well, 98-99% of the games don't use a chip at all. I would rather buy these few games instead of using an emulation of the chips. The incompatibility list is still pretty big. SD2SNES isn't worth the asked money.

That's a matter of opinion. Don't like the Kirby games and Far East of Eden Zero is still untranslated yet. Star Ocean and Super Mario RPG are nice though.

The SD2SNES cart is more a developer oriented device than a typical flashcart like others far less expensive.

As such worths every penny but I would not buy it just for gaming. There are better alternatives if you just want to play.

Very much interested in an Everdrive. Maybe for the N64 as emulation still isn't great in the grand scheme of things and the N64 controller needs to be used really to get the best experience - for all it's faults.

MD emulation is really decent and plenty of decent controllers to use with it. But I do like the MD more and more these days.
