Ok, I have the iso but I noticed that the game had no music, and it is because of this... but I don't find the mp3 in any ftp I know. But the game is playable, and you can play with every world country

Hi!
You shouldn't thank me, but the whdload-team, who make
sth. like this indirectly possible!!!
I'd like everybody using the 444 & 888 getting registered on
http://www.whdload.de/reg.html
These guys make an enourmous job for the amiga-scene and everybody
should support them!!!
BTW: Striker is included in the snap of the 888,
but of course w.o. audio...

Why not make a list of JST/whds that won't work with CD32s due to some button/screen problem?
I'm thinking along the lines of, battlesquadron defaulting to two joysticks, nothing like adding joystick to a mouse game.
Then all of us together ask the authors really nicely if they have any way of fixing it?
Most of them probably havn't got CD32s to try the slaves on.

More for the 888

Hi Frostwork:

I've got a few more requests for the 888. I used to publish an Amiga Games magazine in the US and just got back into it ten years after the CD32 bit the dust.

Here's my list. I'm downloading 444 right now and can't wait to play Killing Game Show. Thanks!

Alien Breed 3D
Blood Money
Cannon Fodder 2
Doom
Doom 2
Fears
Flashback -- I know, GRRRR.
Gloom
Pinball Dreams -- I know, GRRRR.
Pinball Mania
Populous
Speedball 2 NTSC version by Konami
State of the Art demo by Spaceballs
Syndicate American Revolt (add-on game)
TV Sports Basketball
Yo! Joe!

Any luck on any of these?

Hi again!

Alien Breed 3D : I gave it some tries:
cd32-version seems to want the cd32.tm, but I use the cdtv.tm...
Anyway it has password-protection...
Disk version does not yet work...

Blood Money : it's in my not-working-dir...?
Cannon Fodder 2: maybe I could replace some files from the CF-CD32
version in order to get this working with joypad?
Doom1,2: doesn't make sense, and would take too much space...
Fears: cd32-version wants cd32.tm, too, disk not enough mem?
Flashback: well, you can't play it through with only cd32/joypad, but I
think, I'll include it as "bonus"
Gloom: I don't like this game, but I'll give it a try...
Pinball Dreams : still GRRR
Pinball Mania : nope!
Populous : don't think so... (part 2 would be great, but nope, too)
Speedball 2 NTSC version by Konami (I don't have it...)
State of the Art demo by Spaceballs : good idea, demo-only-cd
doesn't make much sense, but I'll include a little demo-dir
Syndicate American Revolt : maybe same way as on CF2?
TV Sports Basketball : will try
Yo! Joe! : don't think so...

about games running from a standard cd32, I think turrican needs to have use an image with scores you cannot beat, else when game over you can't type your name in on the score chart, and you have to reset just to play another game, the original version is so easy to get a high score in you have to reset everytime cos it doesnt save them. maybe this happens on other games with highscores you have to type.?
why can no one patch pinball dreams to use joypad somehow, must be too hard to do, pity
can't whdload be updated to be used to somehow emulate the joypad for keys and mainly space bar etc, dunno how it works about this kind of stuff and how hard or if at all possible it would be to implement it?

Just checked, all turricans do it, but turrican 3 will quit the entry after a while so not too bad on that one.

- Plutos WHD: You can start the game using the fire button on the appropriate joystick rather than having to press a key (requested by Riempie for CD³² play!)
- Run the Gauntlet
- Fuzzball: Start the game with the fire button or using F1 and F2 (hi Riempie!)
