Anyone know where my mayhem thread went ??
Can't seem to find it anymore and the guy who emailed me saying he could get it seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth (maybe the game has some ancient evil curse attached to it ?? )
RCK - Was the thread archived or deleted. I just need the text and the picture that was attached to the thread if possible so I can keep a copy of it for myself for future postings. Thanks. |

Since your last visit, the thread police go on a daily binge of expunging anything more than two weeks old (unless deemed critical for preservation...)
(sigh) |

It wasn't me.
I tried to find your picture on Godflesh's board because it used to be on their, but sadly it's gone from there too |

well I do believe you that it wasn't you in this case, but you also delete stuff you think to be superfluous. Yes, I really feel I have to appeal for reasonability in this board from time to time, even to you, Ian.
For example, you deleted a configuration file which I posted in a thread to help out a user, but why on earth? This is only 3 k (in words: THREE KILOBYTES) and can be kept. Even it's a hundred of them, they will only take 300k, which is smaller than most zipped adf files. Well ... |

You have a point, but I see it differently.
Config files (And it's not only yours I deleted by the way) are useful at the time, but everyone who wanted them would have downloaded them at the time. No matter how small the file is, if it's not needed it just wasting space. I'm sorry, but I don't see the problem and seeing as the files are so small as you put it, is it that much trouble to upload them again if someone else needs them? IMO anything that solves any problem must be kept.

Wow....that was a lot of replies
Sorry RCK I don't have any of the email replies. The thread title was "Looking for multiplayer game called Mayhem" It was posted under my BeelzebubUK title. I think I first posted it sometime early August. It had one attachment on it of a picture from another similar looking game. Hope that helps. |

Oh and if any of you want to look for it again I'll now pay £50 (or the equivalent in your country) to anyone who can find it for me. And if you were just holding out on me this is as much as I will pay for the game

I have restored all I could about your last thread Beelzebuk,
but I couldn't find any attachment with it, sorry http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2128 @Moderator: I know your quest of maintaining a clean EAB is hard (especially in the game/request section), but please try be carefull (focus on deleting attachments will release more webspace than 50 line of text) |

§ane has posted some excellent screenshots in the other thread for you BeelzebubUK, you should continue your quest using that thread from now on
And I look forward to seeing you bumping it back to the top in a couple of weeks |
