60MHZ with a 68000.. wow thats a record. Can you tell me the mask of the 68000 ?

It is best to use memory with 50ns access time.
You can also find 60ns memories that work stably at 50MHz.

There is currently a driver available for SD cards. Work is in progress to prepare the driver for popular modules with ENC28J60 chip.

Wicher 500i rev.2, rev2a and rev2b provides only 8MB for the operating system. The BIGRAM option allows you to get 8MB of RAM in the SIMM module 16,32,64,128MB (this is the reason for detecting such modules).
However, Wicher 500i version rev.2c can provide 12MB RAM for the operating system.

The RAS13 option is intended for two-sided SIMM modules.

The software for Wicher 500i allows you to set the 7MHz frequency.

This is not a record. I saw a movie on which someone overclocked the MC68HC000 to 66MHz.
My processor is MC68HC000FN12 3E72N QQBX9908

Great.. sounds like it has everything I could want... When do we expect to see Rev2c for sale?

Just got a 500i installed in my precious A500, and I love it

I just need now to start looking at a way to add net connectivity, ant it’ll be heaven on earth !

ABout the new model : will there be a way to flash the new firmware to the current cards, or are they physically different (and thus fixed in their firmware release) ?

Unfortunately, downloading a new firmware is not enough. There are differences on the PCB and some new features will not work properly.

Hi Spidi,

I was watching MVGs video and he swapped his Kick1.3 with SCSI patch for 3.1 as it was recommended. Do you know if Wicher will boot a CF card with a SCSI-patched Kickstart 1.3 as I would like to install a dual Kickstart with 1.3 and 3.1 both with SCSI

Doh, didn't put 2+2 together.. you're MVG of course... I have my 16Mb 50ns SIMM sitting here and 20MHz 68000 on way. I'd like to max my performance, hopefully getting to 50 MHz.

Spidi. MVG has a RTC in his Wicher but Rev2c you removed the RTC? Why? SPI RTC is fine but if I use SPI for Ethernet can I also use for RTC??

I'm working on it. Currently adjusting the Wicher command to work with Kickstart 1.3

Not everyone wants to have RTC. You can connect up to 4 different modules to the SPI bus.

DS3234 is currently not supported, no driver. I need to get a module and write a driver.
At the moment there are drivers for DS1306.

Ds1306 needs a board building.. DS3234 board with coin cell receptacle costs €5

Will there be some sort of daughterboard to connect these SPI devices to?
