even my 1000?
So i would have a jumper on the mb of my 1000 to change it from ntsc to pal???
I have an ntsc 1000 with about 10-20 discs of ntsc software and maybe 10 times that of pal and i like to see the bottom section of my programs. Will i still miss these bits since it is hooked up to an american monitor? or does the monitor just display what is sent? |

I think it really depends on the monitor. Some of them support both NTSC and PAL. But if yours only does NTSC, then you might have to fiddle a bit with the Vertical Hold, provided it can handle the refresh rate. (60hz I think?). You'll be missing bits from the top and bottom (i think PAL centers itself on an NTSC monitor), but it shouldn't be too bad.

When i use pal stuff on it, it doesn't center. I thought it would to but the top lines up and i just miss the bottom section.
I'll have a play tonight and see what happens? |
