I wonder why no P96 drivers for Retina Z2 ?
I know that the Z2 is EGS, however the Picaso 2 has P96 and EGS drivers, would it be possible to use these as source? inquring minds and all that. |

No idea - perhaps Retina works only in segmented mode?

Wow, many thanks to Gulliver for making this available.
No difference in benchmarks on my PIV, but everything seems stable as before. One note: PicassoIV.card eliminates the ability to select 15/16-bit "PC" screenmodes. (Same as in early Picasso96 releases.) Not a biggie, although PowerIcons causes some strange glitches around icons unless a "PC" mode is selected. Simple fix is to use the previous version of PicassoIV.card. (This glitch doesn't occur at all with early versions of rtg.library, or using 24-bit modes.) So was the glitch due to rtg.library or picassoiv.card?

The bug is probably in PowerIcons or rtg.library, you have to revert to a really ancient version of the lib to avoid the problem. (Might not be a good idea.)
You can't select PC modes with the new picassoIV.card, which shouldn't be a issue - it's just that a PC 15/16-bit mode is needed to avoid the glitch with PowerIcons. Hope that made sense. |

Installed on a meditor1200 + voodoo3-2000 setup. caused quake and Doom (doomattack and Adoom) to have a flashing yellow software error at top.
removed and reverted back to former version of P96 and all works well? |

I will test those myself (quake and doom), as I have the same setup as yours. And see if I get the same results.

Why wouldn't you want P96 for CVisionPPC board when you can put CGX4 which is way better and a lot more user friendly!
