capacitor value?

Hi peeps,

Does anyone know the true value of this capacitor (SMD variety).

The markings I have are from top to bottom;

100
16G
793

Is that 100uF/16V or am I way out? :

hi zetro

It's from an ATI Radeon 7000 graphics PCI board. There are no other markings than those.

It is 5mm in both diameter/height.

Found it!

100 is the uF rating... 16G is the voltage rating.... and 793 is the date code

Would this be an ideal replacement? http://uk.farnell.com/nichicon/pcj1c...16v/dp/1580639

cheers chaps

Well, farnell won't accept any orders below £20! So I have ordered a few on eBay.

Glad I spotted it was missing before installing it (there are 10 altogether) otherwise who knows what it could have done!

Should have tried their sister company (CPC).
