Hello, I have a screen tear in native resolution (HD) toward the top of the screen (looks like 1 line, possibly 2) which is stable and does not move. This exists with all config set-ups if I use Low Latency Vsync @ 50Hz. Is there a way I can hide this at the very top (or bottom) of the screen so to remove the effect? Thanks! Kristian

I am using WinUAE x86 3.3.0

If it is fully stable, most likely it is driver feature and only way to hide it is to use double buffer mode (which of course increases latency).

Attach winuaebootlog.txt and winuaelog.txt to confirm. (tick logging checkbox in paths panel, boot to vsync mode, wait few seconds, quit, attach logs)

Hi Toni thanks for the reply. I will attach the logs when I get the next opportunity. I remember seeing this thread http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=76491.
Post 6 you mention something about hiding a stable screen tear in the vblank. It is an old post, is that not actually possible? Thanks for your help.

It is not yet implemented but now that you reminded me, it will be in next version (probably command line only, something line "-scanlineadjust -5")

Hello, just wanted to say the 3400 beta 3 seems to work wonderfully. A -scanlineadjust of 50 moves the stable screen tear off the visible screen on my system so I can play Pinball Fantasies AGA and Lionheart at full screen 1920x1080 low latency vsync with no buffering. Great stuff!

Belated thanks again for getting this into 3.4.0 stable. Sent a donation (not just for this addition, as it is one of my most used programs!).

Thanks. I forgot about this already, hopefully I don't break it too soon.. (Sometimes it can happen too easily with these kinds of hacks)
