question about joypads

Does anyone know if the SG Pro pad will function in a similar way to the cd32 pad? I brought 2 of these off ebay recently and they have 3 main buttons and by the looks of it, 2 triggers.

heres a pic: http://www.computinghistory.org.uk/u...ODPIC-6320.jpg

cheers
tony

isn't that a megadrive pad? Which isn't the same as a cd32 pad. not that i exactly know the communication done by this, i doubt they are interchangeable.

That's a Megadrive pad indeed and will NOT work as a CD32 pad.

Oh well... I got two of them for £1.64. As long as they give me two button support and a decent D-pad then that will be good enough for me.
At the moment all I’ve got is a Zipstick a Quickjoy Jetfighter and the original Master System controller). All of them suck!
I only have a few games that have CD32 support. The ones that spring to mind are bubble and squeak and Fightin' spirit and even they have 2 button modes.
If I desperately want to play 4 button fightin' spirit I’ll fire up winuae and play the CD32 version.

Cheers
Tony
