A2000 to VGA

I've been looking around for a good method to do this and want to make custom cable with sync inverter that you may already be familiar with.

http://www.amiga.org/modules/myalbum...id=2805&cid=10

But if I run a straight through cable supplying the original sync to a voodoo1 card, will the vga passthrough on the card support/modify the rates? Has anyone tried this before?

Heys Crazg,

I honestly dont think anyone has, I have read talk about using the component out to the video in on a vodoo5500 pci. but I have yet to see this in action.

This diagram appears to be the same as the Silver Commodore video Dongle that ships with A4000's. But I could be wrong.

A voodoo 1 card would not affect anything, it would just pass straight through.

It is useless on an A2000 unless the monitor supports 15KHz.

Ok so the passthrough is "like" a wire switch?
