Reshoot: New distributor, digital download

Good news for Amiga gamers: APC TCP is now taking care of the distribution of my game Reshoot – the predecessor to RESHOOT R

My Amiga shmup was originally released in August 2016 as boxed version only. You can now order the game as digital download, which contains the full game and the manual. If you prefer to wrap your fingers around a beautiful and professionally produced CD-ROM, please feel invited to order the boxed copy for a reduced price. Check it out here

Oh, so you expected RESHOOT R? That´ll take another couple of months before release ... Reshoot is nice too, though :-)

Yeah, but he already bought it before.
I was also confused by the post and the only reason I didn't go and do as DamienD was because I read APC&TCP

It would really be best, now that I realize, to have a completely separate thread for Reshoot R, and not post any Reshoot stuff on the Reshoot R thread and viceversa.

Yes, I read this quickly and thought this was a pre-order / digital download for RESHOOT R

I already purchased RESHOOT when it first came out...

You may remember, I wanted a digital copy but that wasn't on offer at the time so had to purchase the full box.

Whats strange? Unzip the iso and burn to disc or load in emulator, the game size is very small, 46mb pdf is manual.

I'm a little bit disapointed with this game
I've bought this game during the period of confinement to spend my time with a new shoot them up, whenever i said earlier that the price for digital download was a bit high.
So it's a pure scoring shmup but score is not saved ? What's the deal ?
Game is quite impossible to play without the trainer & autofire.
Can a whdload patch resolve these issues ? Or a patch from buzzybee ?
Thig game as lots of quality but gameplay is ruined by this.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am totally aware that the lack of a highscore save feature is missed by some players. That´s why I implemented this feature into Reshoots successors RESHOOT R. In fact, not only does it save highscores locally, but you can also "upload" them onto a worldwide highscore table at reshootr.spieleschreiber.de

I've bought Reshoot-R at the same time. The second one is more "polished", like a 2nd opus can be, and i like it.
I just wonder if you plan to do some patch about autofire (only with button pressed, not like in the trainer) or/and highscore table on the first one.
An infinite scoring shooter without a high score table is very confusing.
I'm not saying "do the game as i want it to be", it's your vision and i respect your work as it is . I just make some suggestions and ask if it's in your plan to do some modifications, although this game is 4 years old, and i understand that you are on other projects, and leave out this one as it is.

I´d love to enhance Reshoot with some addons, like the ones you mention. As you say, I´m on other projects right now; but I do keep the idea in my head, as Reshoot could be so much better with just some rather minor tweaks ...
