0.8.21 R4 problem

i have WinUAE 0.8.17, 0.8.8 R8 and 0.8.21 R4
the only one that works right is 0.8.8
on the others the screen is all screwed up misplaced, and the sound is screwed. i messed with all the settings but to no avail. i made sure everything that was there was exactly the same as in 0.8.8. but to no avail. id rather like the save state option, so im not pleased.

0.8.8 works in fullscreen but crashed in windowed
the others work windowed but screw up in fullscreen.
fixing either would be good, but preference to the newer version of course.

I say that there is some confilct between the emulators. Go for some thing like Fellow 035. Dont use on Windows XP. You only get one res of 300x200 and 8-bit colour. If you have win xp, try WinUAE 072 emulates perfect, most stable I say.

Does clicking "Detect 16-bit pixel format"-button help? (WinUAE GUI display-page) Does your problem happen with every available resolution/bit depth? Do you have correct monitor "driver" installed? (wrong "driver" might cause strange refresh rate problems)

WinUAE is confirmed working on XP because my development environment is Windows XP + MSVC7
