It was a joint Assembly Line/The Bitmap Brothers development but the HOL field only supports one developer.

Bitmap Brothers designed it, Assembly Line actually programmed it.

Slightly off topic but I always remember thinking Xenon wasn't that well programmed
It's a damn fine game but technically it always looked like they wrote one version to suit ST/Amiga - scrolling definitely wasn't up to usual Amiga standards e.g. Hybris. Or is it simply the case that it's an ST port? |

They were too adventuruous with the three layers of scrolling, plus it was a Bitmap Brothers trademark/tradeoff. They would rather a game ran at a constant 25frames than run at 50 frames and keep dropping the frame rate when there was too much on screen. |

Hijacking this thread a little on the mention of Hybris, has everyone else heard the remix of Paul Van Der Valk's excellent "Imploder Theme" by reed?
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=7789 I have to say that when I first heard it nostalgia coursed through my veins! |
