GREAT GIANA SISTERS

Has to be the worse looking game ever, and a complete rip off for super mario.

Certainly not 2600 screenshots but yes bit mucky

And Brattacas is one of those games i'd like to get into but whenever i try, i'm just left clueless on how to control the character - is it actually possible?

I know you are short on time playing games, so please leave this one out okay? I tried it today and not only the graphics are horrible

Yeah i havn't heard anything good about it TCD i must say.Sometimes i play real duff games for nothing more than i like their atmosphere

Cheers for the pointer though .It's way down that 'to play' list and maybe i'll add it instead to my 'to play if suicidal' list - but yeah i know what i'm getting myself into with this one lol

I know you have some real gems on your list, so better start with these than a game nominated for the ugliest Amiga game ever Happy gaming mate

Giana??? What the f**k???

There's too many to list but how about this. Even with C64 standards this would be concidered as a piece of crab.

That 1 dont look to bad, compared to some of the crap that was released. I cant beleive I used to sit there for hours waiting for games to load on my speccy, then play all the arcade classics (thinking they were great) after playing them at the arcades, .

I liked Vixen and Brattacas a lot! Not so ugly IMO. I think Brattacas was very modern at the time using hi-res graphics. And Vixen had this... well... name. Any German will probably know what I mean.

My candidate that immediately springs to mind:

A lot of these games have much worse problems that graphics. Simplistic graphics doesn't equal bad graphics. You might as well add Star Wars. And some of them were just the victim of the transition from 8bit to 16 graphics.

Also, Leisure Suit Larry didn't look bad, nor did any of the Sierra games, apart from the later VGA ports. Police Quest 3 and Space Quest IV were particularly bad ports, as if they just used a painting program and changed the number of colours from 256 to 32 in one button press. LSL5 actually looked quite decent, I think.

Anyway, like I said, a lot of the games just had bad gameplay. Also, if gameplay is good, then graphics are usually acceptable as well. Gravity Force was brought up, but I just don't see what was wrong with it. Even Brataccas would've been acceptable had the game played well enough.

Thanks for the replies guys. One thing, though. At lest Amiga never had the equivilaint of CGA palette.
Wow the early DOS days were painful!

Sounds like pure comedy mate. Well, i've seen tons of nicer looking games on a ZX Spectrum machine.

Battle Trucks, no shareware.
